Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003) The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Prisoners2013, Grown-Ups2010, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her films. Bello was a television star as Dr. Anna Del Amico, a medical drama that ran from 1997 until 1998. She also played Michelle McBride on Goliath's first season in 2016 and as Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS which she portrayed as the lead agent. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown (New Jersey) to Kathy Bello, an educator and school nurse. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama The ER (1997-1998). Bello also starred in other roles, such as Michelle McBride in the debut season of the series Touch in 2013, as well as that of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane on NCIS from 2017 to 2021. She studied political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her acting training through participation in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. Bello wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Examining the labels we give Ourselves, (Dey Street Books) 28 April 2015.
